Home Alone

#2 in my apparent series of not very Christmas-sy Christmas illustrations.

The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus

One of my Christmas traditions is to watch the really weird “The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus” from 1985. It was the last of the Rankin Bass stop motion animated Christmas specials and has waaaay more giant spiders, battle axes & dragons than the typical kids’ holiday movie.

Magneto Halloween Costume

My homemade Magneto costume for Halloween! I got the helmet template from Dali Lomo - who does some amazing superhero mask stuff with cardboard. Check him out!
The mask is built with cardboard & a hot glue gun, then applied paper mache, then applied plaster strips. I had to add an extra strip of cardboard down the middle of the helmet to accommodate my giant head. The other accessories are all spray painted cardboard.
The gloves and boots were built around gloves and shoes, with cardboard strips to add length, then colored duct tape to finish. One of the gloves had magnets on the fingers to lift up (small) metal objects!

Fall Ghost

Sometimes, even during primetime haunting season, it's good to get away from it all for a while.

Halloween Party Decorations

The whole snow in October thing spoiled my outdoor decorating plans, but I still went crazy inside with spooky silhouettes cut out from black construction paper.

Have A Merry Christmas!

This is something I did in the holiday mood that I'm not really sure what to do with now.

Halloweenie

Who's hasn't updated their blog in a long while and is excited for Halloween? Me! So halloween always reminds me of this awesome episode of Pete & Pete and I drew this in tribute. This one is completely digital - sorry for the neglect, pens.

Merry Christmas!

This is from the christmas party at my place earlier this month. Wearing an awesomely bad christmas sweater and parting your hair like you did in 3rd grade is the only way to celebrate. I decided to take the picture to it's logical conclusion here.

Hope you all have an awesome holiday!

X-Busts

More Xmen, using the swirly design in each of these for the hell of it.

Oh! And happy new year! Hope everybody's over their hangovers by now.

Merry Christmas!

**Update: The flash thing never seemed to work anywhere but on my computer, so a year later, here I am to fix it. Copy this http://www.angelfire.com/pa5/ckvworks/extra/betterwatchout.swf and paste it into your browser (sorry, the link isn't working). Also, screenshots (if this attempt doesn't work either).

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope everyone has an awesome holiday! This is a christmas card i did in flash, modeled after those old "choose your own adventure" books. Hope you enjoy it.

Also, here's a few songs for the holidays that've been heavy on my holiday listening rotation - just for you!
Built to Spill - Linus and Lucy
The Ramones - Merry Christmas (I Don't Want to Fight Tonight)
Rooney - Merry XMas Everybody

Weekly Sketch #7: PBF Homage

This week was Paul's idea: drawing a cartoon in the style of the awesome PBF. Being that it's christmastime, I chose it as a theme. Also because its christmastime, I'm busy as hell and couldn't make this very funny.

Happy Halloween!

The best Simpsons halloween segment ever, with possibly the funniest line in the show's history. Guess the line and win a prize.

New Content!!

Here's the team photo of my kickass dodgeball team, the Ballzaxx. We're 4-2 through the regular season and looking to make some noise in the world of intermural sports and free beer.

I was little Pete Wrigley for Halloween this year. Might've been a bit too obscure, but I was glad that a few people I met knew who the hell I was, haha. I drew Petunia on my own arm with Sharpies, and making her dance became funnier and funnier as I got drunker and drunker.

And here's Brandon, he cut up an infant-sized "Dragonsaurus" costume. It was pretty hilarious.
