Philadelphia Phillies Championship Parade 2008

Wow, I've thought many, many times that I'd never see a championship parade in Philadelphia. Here's the photos I took yesterday with my iPhone because I forgot my camera. Why'd I forget my camera? When I saw the crowd at the train station, I knew I had to get in line as fast as possible and forgot it in my car. Damn. Can we have another one of these sooner than 25 years from now that I can bring my camera to?


My brother-in-law and I were literally the last two people on the train and needless to say, it was crowded. We got into the city, bought a cheesesteak for lunch, settled in at the corner of Broad & Sansom and the rest was just awesome.





Then we went to a bar to watch the rest of the parade on TV and afterwards, of course, came the celebratory dance party.

These are from back in Kutztown, before I discovered photoshop and ctrl+z, I actually drew with markers, colored pencils and painted. I have a feeling that'll turn into a "I had to walk to school everyday in the snow, uphill both ways" kind of story over time, haha. Here's the team photo of my kickass dodgeball team, the Ballzaxx. We're 4-2 through the regular season and looking to make some noise in the world of intermural sports and free beer.


I was little Pete Wrigley for Halloween this year. Might've been a bit too obscure, but I was glad that a few people I met knew who the hell I was, haha. I drew Petunia on my own arm with Sharpies, and making her dance became funnier and funnier as I got drunker and drunker.

And here's Brandon, he cut up an infant-sized "Dragonsaurus" costume. It was pretty hilarious.

A tribute to some old(ish) school basketball legends with a series of portraits of the entire 1992 US Olympic Basketball team. Some of the greatest players on arguably the greatest team ever.. and Christian Laettner! Plus, these guys are all pretty recognizeable and were fun to draw.
